So, the Olympics are over for another 4 years and Team GB have exceeded all expectations. It was a fabulous performance from all involved but how has it affected you?
Personally, it has given me a boost and something that this country should be proud of. It has been a disappointing summer weather wise and of course the so called "credit crunch" hasn't helped people feel good - but there is always something positive to focus on - and for me it was our Olympians. Even in the face of adversity these guys were fantastic and we should be rightly proud of them.
Oh and one other thing, at least BBC;s Sports Personality of The Year contest will be interesting this year - and the winner won't be England's world Domino champion.
